As the founder and full stack web developer of the platform, my mission is to help job seekers and professionals have all the tools, features, products, services, and resources they need to take their career to the next level.
My position at HospitalCareers called on all my digital marketing techniques, search engine optimization, and content creation skills. I demonstrated an ability to write engaging content, improve search engine rankings, increase organic user traffic, and increase brand awareness. I located, monitored, evaluated, and recommended SEO opportunities and strategy changes through the use of Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics. I implemented keyword research strategies in the planning, development, and updating of existing and future site content across all digital mediums.
I developed content strategy, and tracked performance metrics to continually improve engaging content after publication. I ensured appropriate content delivery on the HospitalCareers platform by manipulating the WordPress CMS and HTML pages across the HospitalCareers platform. I monitored, wrote, and share engaging content for use on all company social media pages.
I developed and published the weekly company newsletter to subscribed users. I engaged in outbound digital marketing techniques through various contact methods including email marketing, to secure partnership opportunities and guest post opportunities.
My position with UpWork called on the full array of my skill set, including management, creativity, and outreach skills. My supervisory skills were demonstrated in directing a team of 5 to 10 content curators on a variety of brand development projects, as I provided guidance, assigned workflow and tasks, and monitored progress toward project completion. In addition, I supported team effectiveness by setting standards for the recruitment of qualified talent and the professional development of current team members, while supporting organizational goals. My duties also included managing social media accounts, including Google Plus, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
To help brand development and increase awareness, my duties also included creating, writing, and editing content with modern copywriting techniques - incorporating strategic placement of keywords and keyword phrases to increase search engine effectiveness. To advance company goals I gathered, curated, and promoted content for newsletters, press releases, email marketing, and subscriber notifications.
As the Website Project Manager, I was tasked with raising our brand awareness and implementing sales techniques to reach company goals, as I worked with a team of 10 to 20 content curators and implemented search engine optimization strategies. Through effective use of website content management systems, I was able to improve the ease of use and enhance the overall customer experience. To ensure the quality of our tournament experiences, I supported oversight of tournaments and other events from development through implementation, and provided training to other staff members working in this area.
